This fabulous cold bronze sculpture is cast from an original sculpture by Oliver Tupton and is a modern interpretation of a mythical woman who had a head of snakes. While Medusa was widely reported to be ugly, one myth suggests that she was beautiful and her sheer beauty paralyzed others! Surely this is the medusa we see here. This actual design was originally drawn by Russian artist Boris Vallejo in the 1980's and has been recreated by Oliver Tupton in this stunning bronze statue. Measures 22cm or 9 inches tall and cast from solid bronze resin. This makes a fabulous addition to any bronze collection of nude bronze art or an interest in mythology or anyone who appreciates beautiful bronze artistry.
